Alli is a UK trained nurse and midwife.

The first fourteen years of her career. She spent as a general nurse (specialising in Oncology).  After the birth of her first son, She took a totally different career path and retrained as a midwife.  

Alli has 20 years of practical midwifery experience working in clinics, labour ward and community.  During this time, She also worked part time as a menopause nurse.  

Before leaving the NHS to live abroad, Alli worked as a specialist midwife in Perinatal Maternal Mental Health.  

All aspects of midwifery are rewarding however, She found this role as one of the most interesting in her career. 

So moving forward, Alli really wanted to delve much deeper into the subject and establish a solid knowledge base of perinatal mental health and the importance of the mind-body connection.  And so she has spent the last few years studying to gain a robust knowledge in her areas of interest. Her training is up to date and evidence based, some requiring regular supervision as part of a code of conduct. 

Prior to moving to Hong Kong, Alli lived in India where she worked in a small company as a volunteer Midwife. A huge success for the team was setting up the first Waterbirth Unit in Mumbai. Alli also volunteered for an NGO charity and was responsible for writing and facilitating a pregnancy  programme for them.

Alli can say with confidence that her years of experience as a Midwife supporting many families  has given her great insight into the needs of new mums, dads and birthing people as they prepare for their journey to parenthood.

  • PGC Perinatal Maternal Mental Health.

  • Mindfulness Breastfeeding Coach.

  • Birth Trauma Therapist.
